NCCYHA to Host Goalie Clinics

Goalie Clinics Start September 16th

Dear NCCYHA Families:

To further the training of our goalies, we are looking to start having practices solely for them.  We are going to start by sharing the ice with the Learn to Play skaters on the following dates at Steele Hall Ice Arena:

 

Sept. 16 @ 1:30 pm

Sept. 22 @ 10:30 am

Sept. 23 @ 10:30 am

Sept. 29 @ 10:30 am

Sept. 30 @ 10:30 am

Oct. 6 @ 10:30 am

Oct. 7 @ 11:30 am

Oct. 13 @ 9:45 am

Oct. 14 @ 10:30 am

Oct. 20 @ 11:30 am

 

We will be using volunteers from the teams to shoot on the goalies so that they will be facing shots from age appropriate players.

 

We will be looking to get more ice times, either at Steele Hall or at the Cattaraugus Community Center (CCC).

Learn to Play Hockey, House and Travel Registrations are open

The NCCYHA Board of Directors are happy to announce the Learn to Play Hockey and House/ Travel Registrations are open for the 2018-2019 Seasons. The season runs from August 2018 to March 2019. Please follow the "Register Here" link on the left of our home page.

Coaches Announced for 2018-19 Season

The NCCYHA Board of Directors has selected the Head Coaches for the upcoming 2018-19 Hockey Season.

8U (Mite) - Head Coach is Ron Tonelli

10U (Squirt) - Head Coach is Scott Hazelton

12U (Peewee) - Head Coach is Brian Crawford

14U (Bantam) - Head Coach is Steve Olson

Girls (Mixed age group) - Head Coach is Sara Ochterski

16/18U (Midget) - Head Coach is Mark Taylor

 

The Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who applied and interviewed for these positions.  2018-19 House and Travel Registration will open before May 1st 2018.
